Smart Cities Award – GIS Studies receives the XXI Century Technology award in the Smart Cities category
On February 15, the presentation ceremony of the first edition of the XXI Century Technology Awards was held, organized by “El Suplemento”, which was held last Thursday at The Westin Palace Hotel in Madrid.

The gala was attended by representatives of institutions, companies and initiatives dedicated to research, dissemination and development of an area that has been introduced in the rest of the professional, scientific, industrial, cultural or sports sectors.
Estudios GIS received the award in the Smart Cities category thanks to the work that it has been developing in this technological field, bringing its solutions to citizens through the optimization of urban services such as the collection of solid urban waste, remote management of public lighting, irrigation automatic parks and gardens, the management of urban mobility or energy efficiency.
The award was collected by the Managing Director of Estudios GIS, Álvaro Arroyo, who dedicated the award to the Estudios GIS team for their commitment over the more than 20 years of the company’s history and to his family.

The newspaper La Razón has published a special on the occasion of the celebration of the 21st Century Technology Awards ceremony and a report on Estudios GIS as a company awarded in these awards.
